How Big Stick Got His Swagger
Share
An exclusive sit-down with the newest (and loudest) member of the Headcover Crew.
It’s official.
After months of speculation, rumors, and a few leaked photos from a very tipsy member-guest weekend, Carts and Caddies Golf Co. is proud to welcome Big Stick to the crew.
Big Stick brings more than just distance—he brings attitude, charisma, and a top-of-the-bag presence you can’t ignore. We caught up with him just before his first shoot to talk shop, swagger, and what it means to carry the weight of the tee box.
C&C: First off—congrats. Big move joining the brand.
Big Stick: Appreciate it. I’ve been rockin’ headcovers since persimmons were hot, so when Carts and Caddies came calling, I knew it was time to bring the boom back.
C&C: Let’s take it back. Where’d this all start for you?
Big Stick: Pittsburgh, baby. Steel roots. My family was forged in the foundry—me? I was forged in the fairway. Started off heavy, wild, couldn’t find a fairway to save my grip. But I had heart. Over time, I learned to shape it. Fade it. Flight it. Let the others play safe—I’m here to change the course.
C&C: Talk to us about your style. You’ve got this classic look but with flash.
Big Stick: That’s the point. Respect the game, but own your lane. I like my shafts stiff, my collars crisp, and my driver covers stitched with story. I’m not out here wearing fast fashion—I’m built for legacy. Carts and Caddies got that vision: heritage with heat.
C&C: What’s in the bag right now?
Big Stick: Just the essentials: me, a 3-wood that calls me big bro, and a putter that still thinks it’s the boss. I carry confidence, a couple ball marks from Oakmont, and a tee that’s been with me since 2017. I’d tell you more, but you gotta earn your way to the back nine.
C&C: What can the fans expect from your first drop?
Big Stick: Power. Presence. And a whole lotta stitched swagger. Think heavy cotton, bold lines, and just enough detail to make your buddies ask, “Where’d you get that?” It’s gear for the ones who step up to the tee and mean it.
C&C: Last question: any advice for the weekend players out there trying to find their swing?
Big Stick: Trust your tempo. Swing your swing. And don’t forget—style counts. A striped drive looks better in a clean fit. Facts.
Big Stick’s capsule is coming soon.
Sign up for the drop, and bring some swagger to the top of your bag.
